| What |
The Old Mill Invitational is a youth soccer tournament sponsored by the Old Mill
Soccer Association of Peotone, Illinois. 2023 will be the 29th annual tournament.

| Where |
This year's tournament will be held at Peotone High School, 605 W. North St.

| When |
Saturday, October 28 and Sunday, October 29, 2023.

| Teams |
There are divisions for Boys/Coed and all Girls, which includes ages U8, U10, U12 and U14 for each division.
- U8 and U10 teams play 8 per side with maximum roster size of 15.
- U12 teams play 8 per side with maximum roster size of 18.
- U14 Coed teams play 11 per side with maximum roster size of 18
- U14 Girl teams play 7 per side with maximum roster size of 18.
- Traveling/club players allowed, but limited to max of 3 for U8/U10 teams or 4 for
U12/U14 teams. The parents will be asked to verify club player status on the
Waiver Form. The coach is still responsible to insure that the proper number
of club/traveling players is not exceeded.
- IHSA Rules govern play unless noted otherwise.

Header Rule (IHSA Exception new for 2016)
Deliberate heading is not allowed for all U8, U10 and U12 teams but is allowed
for the U14 teams. If the player deliberately heads the ball in a game, an
indirect free kick should be awarded to the opposing team from the spot of
the offense. If the deliberate header occurs within the goal area, the
indirect free kick should be taken on the goal area line parallel to the
goal line at the point nearest to where the infringement occurred.
